Dave has been described as the most influential drummer in New York, mainly by himself. Estimates suggest that he is nearly 5'8", and that he has broken over 74,000 drumsticks in his lifetime. He still plays with Hot Wheels.

Since graduating from the Jazz and Contemporary Music program at the New School University, Dave has had the pleasure of playing with many very talented musicians, in New York and around the country. He loves working in the studio as well as touring, and is excited and friendly as a fat dog in either scenario.

He currently lives in the Williamsburg area of Brooklyn inside a Hasidic Jewish upholstery shop, surrounded by old American drumkits, and big, thin cymbals. Dave plays Istanbul cymbals live on stage and in the studio.

If you have any interesting gigs, studio sessions, car shows, car races, or want drum lessons, Dave would love to hear from you.
